On Friday, 13th September, the opening ceremony of the academic year 2013-2014 took place at the Aula Magna in Campus Catalunya. In this ceremony, the ‘excellent doctorate awards’ were presented. On this ocassion, two doctors from the Institute of Catalan Research of Catalonia were awarded.

Dr. Josep Albero for his thesis on ‘Photo-Induced Charge Transfer Reactions in Quantum Dot Based Solar Cells’ under Emilio Palomares’ supervision and Dr. Sander J. Wezenberg for his thesis entitled ‘Exploring Metallosalen Complexes in Materials Sciene and catalysis’ in Arjan Kleij’s research group.
