Two ICIQ researchers are finalists of the 2013 SusChem-JIQ awards

SusChem-España is a Spanish technological platform on sustainable chemistry that works towards the advancement of chemical and biotechnological research and innovation.

SusChem-España sponsors the SusChem-JIQ awards that aims at recognising and supporting young and promising chemists.

In its fifth edition, two ICIQ researchers have reached the final in two different categories:

Cayetana Zárate Sáez, currently doing her PhD at Rubén Martín research group, is the finalist of the FUTURA category for an exceptional academic record during her degree at Universidad de Valladolid, with an average of 8,9.
In the POSTDOC category, Claudio Martínez Fernández, from Kilian Muñiz team, is one of the finalists for his publication on ‘Palladium-Catalyzed Vicinal Difunctionalization of Internal Alkenes: Diasteroselective synthesis of Diamines‘.
