The ICIQ spin-off Treellum Technologies is taking part at 4YFN (4 Years From Now), a Mobile World Congress event focused on the future of the entrepreneurial ecosystem. The goal of 4YFN is to help startups accelerate their growth by helping them market their products or get funding.
Treellum Technologies has joined the ACCIÓ booth at 4YFN to promote its photo-reactors and explain its work to the entrepreneurial ecosystem that is visiting the city of Barcelona during the Mobile World Congress.
During the first day of the event, the scientists were visited by the Minister of Business and Labor of the Generalitat de Catalunya Roger Torrent and the CEO of the Agency for the Competitiveness of Business (ACCIÓ) Natàlia Mas, who have been interested in the photo-reactors marketed by the spin-off. “We are very pleased with the reception our technology has received at the event. Our reactors make visitors curious, so everyone comes to ask and they get to know a little more about photochemistry and its applications,” explains Esther Alza, CEO of Treellum Technologies.
Light for laboratories
Treellum Tecnologies combines the experience and knowledge of photocatalysis and reactor construction of ICIQ researchers. The result is a new line of photoreactors with full control of temperature and light intensity. The sublimation of years of experience of the scientists of the center, these reactors give enough rigor and flexibility to be of great use to the chemical community.
