Quan’s research major is organic synthesis, and his research interest is the total synthesis of natural products. He has a good grasp of the skills in organic chemistry experiments, including anhydrous and anaerobic operation, glove box operation, column separation and so on. He can skillfully operate some experimental equipment and chemical software, such as IR, HPLC, NMR spectrometer, and Chemdraw, MestReNova and so on. During his master’s degree, he completed the first total synthesis of three formicapyridine aromatic polyketide natural products and published the article as the first author.
