Derick R. White

Derick was born in Lakeland, FL, USA in 1989. His interest in chemistry led to a B.S. in Chemistry at Ohio University in Athens, OH in 2012. After acceptance to the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI for his Ph.D. studies, he joined the lab of Dr. John Wolfe and is currently investigating new methods related to Pd-catalyzed alkene difunctionalization reactions. Derick also enjoys songwriting and cooking.
