Visiting Student

Lucia’s research focuses on the synthesis of organic chromophores and multiphoton spectroscopy. She is working in the field of cell membrane imaging using quadrupolar dyes and she is investigating the use of functionalized calixarenes as mechanical stimuli-responsive sensors. She is currently carrying out her PhD at the University of Parma under the supervision of prof. Laura Baldini.
