Diana E. Tahuilan-Anguiano received a bachelor’s degree in chemistry at Faculty of Chemistry from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Later she studied in the Chemical Sciences Program at UNAM where she obtained her MSc and PhD. Diana belongs to the National System of Researchers awarded by the National Council of Humanities, Science and Technology in Mexico. Her work has been focused on the synthesis, characterization and computational analysis of materials such as carbon nanomaterials and organometallic compounds with different applications such as optoelectronics with an environmentally friendly approach and renewable energies.
