Angelo was born in San Doná di Piave (Venice) in 1997. After a vocational high school, he joined the University of Padova (Italy) where he earned his BSc degree in 2019 (104/110) and his MSc degree (110/110) in 2021, both in chemistry. He joined the Erasmus+ program in KU Leuven (Belgium). Angelo obtained his MSc under the supervision of professor Luca Dell’Amico with a thesis on photocatalytic organic synthesis for carbon dioxide fixation. Before starting with his PhD, he worked as Regulatory Affairs Intern at Reckitt Benckiser Commercial in Milan, and as a project manager of two European projects (DigiChem and CLOCKS) in Silvia Gross’s group at the University of Padova. His research focus is on carbon dioxide utilization, and he is currently pursuing his PhD under the supervision of professors Arjan W. Kleij and Paolo Pescarmona (University of Groningen).
