Ana obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry at the University of Brasília in 2021, studying molecular interactions in fatty acids and the stability of potential biolubricants using DFT. Later at the University of São Paulo, she got her Master’s degree at the Applied Computational Chemistry Group under the supervision of Professor Ataualpa Braga, working on substituents’ effect on Ruthenium PNP catalysts for CO2 hydrogenation to formic acid. Alongside she collaborated with other projects focusing on elucidation of reaction mechanisms in homogeneous catalysis through DFT calculations.
