Milica earned her Bachelor of Science from the Faculty of Physical Chemistry at the University of Belgrade, where she conducted computational research on boron-doped graphene for sodium and aluminum storage in potential metal-ion battery applications. She then pursued two master’s degrees: one at the University of Belgrade and another through the Erasmus Mundus SERP+ program, a joint degree between the University of Paris-Saclay (France) and the University of Porto (Portugal). During her time at the University of Paris-Saclay, she completed an internship at the Institute of Physical Chemistry in Orsay, where she investigated metallic nanoparticles for cancer treatment from a theoretical chemistry perspective, utilizing machine learning. Milica has been recognized with several awards, including the Pupin Award for her master’s thesis (2023), the “Sestre Bulajić” Award for the best undergraduate thesis (2021), and Special Recognition for Exceptional Success from the Serbian Chemical Society (2022).
