Yannick was born in Zurich (Switzerland) and studied Chemistry at the ETH Zurich. After starting his PhD in the group of Prof. Ryan Gilmour at the same institution he followed the group to the WWU Muenster (Germany). He obtained his PhD in January 2015 and then joined the Melchiorre group to pursue his interest in photochemistry. In his free time Yannick enjoys skiing and going out with friends.
