After a bachelor’s degree in Physics obtained at Serampore College under Calcutta University, Suraj decided to continue with a two-year master’s in Physics at the National Institute of Technology Karnataka. During his master’s, he decided to join the Computational Materials Science group for a one-year master’s project at the same institute and worked on a simulation of Skirmion in a 2D crystal system. He carried out several other projects in Deep learning and Big data Analytics.
He is working on accelerating atomistic simulations through graph neural networks.
