Ajmal Rahman Mullukkandy Ajmal obtained his integrated Master’s in Physics from the Central University of Tamil Nadu, India. His master’s project focused on studying hydrogen bonding in alcoholic binary mixtures using molecular dynamics simulations at the Soft Matter Physics lab under the supervision of Prof. V. Madhurima. Later, he worked on an additional project to expand the study of hydrogen bonding in other systems, employing molecular dynamics simulations alongside density functional theory and experimental techniques.
The research project conducted by Ajmal Rahman will be funded by the ‘La Caixa’ Foundation under the Junior Leader Incoming program, 2024 call. Ref. LCF/BQ/PI24/12040012
