Guillaume Mollaert

PhD Student

Guillaume Mollaert obtained both his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Chemistry from the University of Antwerp. During his Bachelor’s thesis, he worked on the defunctionalization of biorenewable phenols in the group of Prof. Maes in Antwerp. During his Master’s Degree, he performed an industrial internship at Ajinomoto Omnichem, working on photoredox chemistry in flow. To conclude his Master’s degree, he went on Erasmus to LIKAT Rostock to perform his Master’s thesis in the group of Prof. Beller, working on applied carbonylation reactions with biorenewable substrates.
