Mathéo Lucas Antonn La Torre

Mathéo is a student-engineer at ESPCI Paris-PSL graduating in September 2023. At ESPCI he had theoretical and experimental training in chemistry with half of the study hours dedicated to practical works in chemistry, physics and biology labs. As a first one-month internship, he studied surface treatments to prevent peptides adsorption on polymers in the SMBP lab at ESPCI-Paris. He later worked for six months as intern at Janssen Pharmaceuticals, investigating new routes in API synthesis in the Discovery Process Research Team. He could handle three research projects and could publish in Synthesis about the first project concerning dehalogenation of (hetero)aryls.
