Shin Won Kim

In his undergraduate thesis, Shin Won worked primarily on a method development project in organic chemistry working on the decarboxylative Mannich reaction for polyketide synthesis in Prof. Alan Healy’s lab at NYU Abu Dhabi. He also worked on developing an amination reaction in Prof. Jean Bouffard’s lab at Ewha University in Seoul for a summer project. Most recently, he was working in Dr. Constanze Neumann’s lab at the Max Planck Institute for Kohlenforschung on a project expanding the utility of metal organic frameworks in the context of metal catalyzed reactions.
