Jake Tyler is currently a graduate student studying coordination chemistry, catalysis, electrochemistry, and computational chemistry. He achieved his BSc and MSc in Chemistry from San Diego State University in 2021 and 2023 respectively. Here, he studied ruthenium water oxidation catalysts under the guidance of Prof. Douglas Grotjahn and collaborated with Prof. Diane Smith for electrochemical studies Prof. Yuezhi Mao for computational studies.
