Qiyuan He earned his bachelor degree in Dalian University of Technology in 2016, majored in Polymer material and Engineering. In 2017, he moved to Japan and studied in Osaka University as a graduate student under the supervision of Prof. Naoto Chatani. He mainly researched in transition-metal catalyzed site-selective C-H activation during his master and PhD study. He focused on the palladium-catalyzed site-selective C-H activation via kinetic unfavored six-membered palladacycles in his PhD study. In Dec. 2021, Qiyuan He successfully passed his doctoral thesis defense and earned his doctoral degree in March 2022.
