Hedieh has received her Ph.D. in analytical chemistry from the University of Tehran in Iran. Her career is marked by significant collaborations and contributions across a global stage, having worked with esteemed institutions such as the Julius Kohn Institute in Quedlinburg, Germany, and Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. With a background knowledge in electrochemical biosensing and nanotechnology, Dr. Haji-Hashemi brings over a decade of hands-on experience in electrochemical techniques and measurements, alongside expertise in nano-biosensing methods. Currently, she is engaged as a Juan de la Cierva postdoctoral fellow. In her current role, she focuses on the development of various types of electrochemical sensors and biosensors, such as immunosensors, aptasensors, and genosensors. Her work aims at the forefront of medical innovation, targeting the early diagnosis of infectious diseases and the enhancement of therapeutic drug monitoring.
