Dr. Adriana Faraone

PhD Student

Adriana graduated in Chemistry in 2016 at the University of Palermo, where she conducted her final project under the supervision of Prof. Gruttadauria. In 2016, she spent a short research period as an invited student in CICbiomaGUNE (San Sebastián), working in the research group of Prof. Salassa. In 2017, she spent another short research stay in DIPC in San Sebastián in the same group. In 2018, she obtained her Master’s degree in Chemistry at the University of Bologna. She undertook her thesis project in collaboration with Prof. Cozzi, focusing on the development of processes combining photoredox and transition metal catalysis. In November 2018, she joined the group of Prof. Melchiorre as a PhD student.
