Wei Du

PhD Student

Wei’s major is organofluorine chemistry during his master’s degree. His research projects contain two parts. Firstly, he realized a practical kilogram synthesis of 2-PySO2CF2H in jiuzhou company. With abundant 2-PySO2CF2H in hand. He explored the nickel-catalyzed reductive cross-coupling of (hetero)aryl iodides with 2-PySO2CF2H. He has a good grasp of the skills in organic chemistry experiments, including anhydrous and anaerobic operation, glove box operation, column separation and so on. He can skillfully operate some experimental equipment and chemical software, such as IR, NMR spectrometer, and Chemdraw, MestReNova and so on.
