He received his B. Sc in Chemistry from Universitat Rovira i Virgili (Tarragona). During his thesis, he moved to the Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia where he worked in the development of Rh-carbynoids for the catalytic cleavage of C(sp2) – C(sp2) bonds under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Marcos G. Suero.
