Marco Di Matteo
Postdoctoral Researcher
Dr. Marco Di Matteo graduated with an MSc in Organic Chemistry from the University of Bologna, Italy, in 2020. During his studies, he completed a 4-month internship under the supervision of Professor Pier Giorgio Cozzi. He obtained his PhD in 2024 as part of the ITN C–HAIR program, supervised by Prof. Giovanni Poli and Dr. Alexandre Pradal, focusing on selective C–H activation of terpenes. As part of the consortium, he conducted research visits at Novartis Pharma under Dr. Fabrice Gallou’s guidance and at the University of Gottingen in Prof. Ackermann’s group.
