Prof. Cheng-Xing Cui
Cheng-Xing Cui graduated from Beijing Normal University. He is an associate professor and master’s supervisor at the Henan Institute of Science and Technology. He is also the young backbone teacher of Henan Province. He has been engaged in the research work of theoretical and computational chemistry for a long time. By using the means of theoretical computational chemistry, he has conducted in-depth and systematic research on the reaction mechanism of structural modification of carbon-containing materials, the reaction mechanism of energy conversion and organic reactions, the optical properties of materials such as COF and MOF, and proposed the strategy of rational design of carbon-containing energy catalysts. In the past five years, he has successively presided over the international training project of high-level talents in Henan Province, the training project of young backbone teachers in Henan Province, the general project of China Post-doctoral Research Fund, the post-doctoral research fund in Henan Province and other scientific research projects. With the support of the above projects, more than 40 SCI research papers have been published in important chemical journals in the past five years, including Angew Chem, Small, Chemical Communications. Especially, he published a review of the mechanism of metal Ir catalytic hydrogenation in 2020, which was published in the top chemical journal Coordination Chemistry Reviews, with an impact factor of 24.8.
