Leandro Cotos Muñoz, holds a Bachelor degree in Chemistry science from the University of Barcelona (2008). During his last academic year, he was enrolled as fellowship holder at Oleoyl-Estrone Developments S.L. Afterwards, he joined as specialized technician in the Polyphenol research group at the faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Barcelona. In 2009, he moved to San Cristobal de La Laguna, to achieve the Master and PhD degree in the IPNA-CSIC center of research, associated to the University of La LAGUNA, obtaining the PhD degree entitled “Propargyl Vinyl Ethers: Platforms for Generating Structural Diversity” under guidance of Drs. Fernando Garcia-Tellado and David Tejedor. In November 2014, he moved to Strasbourg to work on prebiotic chemistry at the Joseph Moran’s reasearch group at ISIS-Strasbourg center of research. Then, at the beginning of 2016, he joined to the Chimie bio(in)organique & médicinale research group to develop projects at the interface of synthetic & medicinal chemistry; and biochemistry, under the direction of Dr. Elisabeth Davioud-Charvet. In December of 2020, he started to work in the molecular design laboratory (MODLAB) at ETH Zurich under the guidance of Prof. Gisbert Schneider. Before to join to ICIQ, he performed a research stage (June-December 2023) at the Center for Radiopharmaceutical Science (CRS) at ETH Zurich, under the direction of Prof Roger Schibli and Dr. Linjing Mu.
