Dr. Yufen Chen

Postdoctoral Researcher

During her doctoral research, Yufen used the mechanochemical strategy to synthesize the noble metal clusters loaded photocatalysts for H2 production under UV/UV-vis light, and further investigated the transformation of metal clusters during the photoreaction. She has gained extensive experience in a range of advanced characterization techniques, such as the XANES, EXAFS, XPS, XRD, BET, Raman, UV-vis, HRTEM/STEM, SEM, FT-IR, etc. In addition, he has conducted the electrochemical and photoelectrochemical measurements (EIS, Mott-Schottky plots and photocurrent response) to get deep understanding of the intrinsic properties of catalysts.
