Dr. Carina Bäcktorp

Postdoctoral Researcher

Carina got her Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Gothenburg (Sweden) in 2007. She joined Prof. Maseras’ group in July 2008 and worked on the project “Selectivity of Inhibitors for Isoforms 1A2 and 2C9 of Cytochrome P450 Enzyme through QM/MM modeling” in collaboration with Pfizer.

She has worked in academia and in industry and she is currently working as a Senior Consultant for Wendelsbergs Beräkningskemi (Mölndal, Sweden)
