Alessio Aroni

Alessio is studying for a B. Sc. degree in Chemistry at Università degli studi di Sassari (Italy). He has an ERASMUS grant to spend 3 months’ in the group doing research on the interaction between metal complexes (MCs) with potential medicinal applications and DNA. The use of metal complexes in the treatment of diseases is one of the most interesting challenges in inorganic medicinal chemistry and is a field of vivid research.
