Andrea was born in Bogotá, Colombia. After obtaining her BSc degree on Chemistry at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia in 2008, she moved to Seville, joining the Master in Science and Technology of New Materials where she got her MSc degree in 2010. Lately, she pursued her PhD studies at the Instituto de Ciencias de Materiales in Seville working in the catalytic reforming of biomass under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Odriozola. Right after, in April 2015 she joined the Urakawa group as a Project Researcher. Her research is focused on the usage of CO2 as chemical feedstock by chemical transformation.
