Research Integrity

ICIQ research is based on the principle of integrity. Our researchers are committed to observing the highest standards in the conduct of their research. Scientific honesty and truthfulness in research and peer review are our pillars. We are convinced that integrity in planning, execution, presentation and assessment of the research work is essential in ensuring excellence. To this end ICIQ has approved the Guidelines for Research Integrity and Good Scientific Practice at Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) that all ICIQ researchers must comply with. These guidelines follow closely those implemented at the ETH Zurich (“Guidelines for Research Integrity”).

This document also foresees the creation of ICIQ Committee in Research Integrity which will provide advice and assistance to ICIQ researchers and will serve as mediator in cases of conflict. The contact persons to be informed in case of allegations of research misconduct are also indicated.
