Phosphite-containing ligands for asymmetric catalysis

This paper covered the literature reports on the use of phosphite-based ligands in asymmetric catalysis in the past decade, the most active period in this area of research. It focused on the asymmetric reactions that were most frequently studied during this period. A variety of catalytic reactions containing phosphite-based ligands that have been applied in asymmetric catalysis were presented and mechanistic aspects were discussed.
