Project description

ERN-Apulia+MED aims to bring Citizens closer to Researchers and viceversa. The project has its roots in the successful ERN APULIA 1, 2 and 3 projects, which encompassed all the provinces of the Italian Region Apulia with its Universities, research centres and major cultural institutions. Here, we enlarge the scope and the network opening up to other Mediterranean institutions (in Spain, Turkey and Albania) as beneficiaries and other non-EU countries for joint associated events (in particular in the Mediterranean southern shore). All partners well selected on the basis of long-term established collaborations, e.g. in academic programs, research, infrastructure access and archaeological campaigns. The initiatives for Citizens involvement are also further scaled up with a more direct involvement of school organization through selected representative schools involved also in activity planning.
