Soon after receiving the Marcial Moreno Lectureship and the OMCOS Award, Prof. Rubén Martín, ICIQ Group Leader and ICREA Professor has received three prestigious international awards in the United States and Canada. 

The awards are the Genentech Lectureship in Organic Chemistry, awarded by the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, the prestigious Bristol-Myers-Squibb Lectureship awarded by the Boston College, in Massachussets, and, last but not least, the Pharmaron Lectureship, awarded by the University of Toronto in Ontario, Canada.

Moreover, Prof. Rubén Martín was recently interviewed in Angewandte Chemie, one of the most reputable chemistry journals. Angewandte highlights the important scientific production of Prof. Martín, who has published more than 10 papers in this journal during the last 10 years, and also unveils Martín’s secret passion. Hint: it’s not chemistry, but it’s related with building blocks too!
