Prof. Martin group's research highlighted in Science

A paper published by Prof. Martin group in the Journal of the American Chemical Society has been included in the Editors’ Choice section in Science.

The paper, that has also been one of the most read articles on J. Am. Chem. Soc. in June, describes a catalytic carboxylation of unactivated primary, secondary, and tertiary alkyl chlorides with CO2 at atmospheric pressure. This protocol represents the first intermolecular cross-electrophile coupling of unactivated alkyl chlorides, thus leading to new knowledge in the cross-coupling arena.
