Prof. George M. Whitesides, member of the ICIQ Scientific Advisory Board, awarded with the 2008 Prince of Asturias Award for Technical and Scientific Research
A member of ICIQ Scientific Advisory Board, the chemist Prof. George M. Whitesides, among other worldwide leaders in the creation of new materials for the benefit of mankind – such as the physicist Sumio Iijima, the engineers Shuji Nakamura and Robert Langer, and the other chemist Tobin Marks – has been bestowed with the 2008 Prince of Asturias Award for Technical and Scientific Research, as made public today in Oviedo by the Jury responsible for conferring the mentioned Award
