Cristina Pubill, PhD student under the supervision of Prof. Carles Bo and Prof. Elena Fernández, defended her PhD Thesis entitled Catalytic Activation of Diboron Reagents towards their Addition to Alkenes: Experimental and Theoretical Approach (assigned to the Physical and Inorganic Chemistry Department of the Universitat Rovira i Virgili) publicly on December 17th at the ICIQ auditorium.

The members of her evaluation committee were: Prof. Lothar Weber (Universität Bielefeld, Germany), Prof. Mariona Sodupe (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona) and Prof. Antonio M. Echavarren (ICIQ).
