Anthony Pitaval, PhD student under the supervision of Professor Antonio M. Echavarren defended his PhD Thesis entitled “Gold Catalysis for the Synthesis of Protoilludane Sesquiterpenes and other Cyclic Systems”(assigned to the Organic and Analytical Chemistry Department of the Universitat Rovira i Virgili) publicly on March 10th at the ICIQ auditorium.
The members of his evaluation committee were: Prof. Sergio Castillón (Universitat Rovira i Virgili), Prof. Mercedes Amat (Universitat de Barcelona) and Dr. Sílvia Díez González (Imperial College, London).
