Pericàs and Cambeiro's paper in Advanced Synthesis & Catalysis is one of the most accessed this year!

Miquel Pericàs‘ group study the immobilization of organic catalysts and ligands onto polystyrene resins. They are also interested in the applicability of triazoles as donors in metal-based asymmetric catalysis.

In this paper they described the design of two new ligands constituted by the conjunction of an easily accessible chiral backbone and a triazole group and they report the first results of their application in catalysis, most specifically, in the Ru-catalysed transfer hydrogenation of ketones.

If you want to know more, read the paper – it is one of the most downloaded this year!
