Paolo Melchiorre et al. paper highlighted in Synfacts

The paper on photochemical α-alkylation of aldehydes published by Paolo Melchiorre and his research team in Nature Chemistry Issue 5 has been highlighted in the latest issue of Synfacts.

The paper describes an innovative strategy that uses visible light to activate chiral enamines and promote the formation of new carbon bonds in high yields with high enantioselectivity.
