ICIQ is involved in the Youth and Science programme, an initiative for talented youth organised by the Catalunya-La Pedrera Foundation. This program seeks to inspire scientific and technological career interests among students and ignite their passion for scientific research and science careers.
This initiative is designed for fifty students in their 4th year of compulsory secondary education (ESO) who exhibit talent and enthusiasm for research. Over a span of three years, one student will have the opportunity to explore sustainable chemistry and gain hands-on research experience at ICIQ.
During the summer between the 1st and 2nd years of baccalaureate, selected students can further immerse themselves in scientific research at a local research center. This phase aims for each student to join a research team in a scientific lab, allowing them to collaborate with leading professionals and participate in international research groups.
Several research institutions in Catalonia, including ICIQ, are involved in Youth and Science, welcoming students from around the globe.
