Núria López et al. article strikes twice

The next issue of Chemistry – A European Journal opens with a feature article by Núria López and Nevys Almora-Barrios in collaboration with Javier Pérez-Ramírez (ICIQ’s former group leader).The article, also highlighted in Chemistry Views, deals with an effective strategy to enhance the selectivity of palladium catalysts in the partial hydrogenation of triple bonds in acetylenic compounds. In this work they compare the performance of bare, lead-poisoned, and ligand-modified palladium catalysts in the hydrogenation of diverse alkynes.
