Bringing together experts to discuss advancements in High-Throughput Experimentation, Laboratory Automation, and AI/ML in chemical synthesis
The 1st ICIQ-HTE Symposium brought together 130 participants from academia and industry to examine developments in High-Throughput Experimentation (HTE), Laboratory Automation, and AI/ML applications in chemical synthesis. The symposium was organised by Dr. Gisela Colet, manager of the ICIQ Scientific Core Facilities, and Dr. Xisco Caldentey, manager of the HTE Laboratory.
“The active discussions in all the sessions prove that the symposium has been an effective forum for researchers and industry professionals to exchange knowledge and explore practical applications of HTE “, stated by Dr. Colet. Dr. Caldentey added, “the symposium has been an incredible opportunity to establish collaborations with other researchers and envision the future of the ICIQ HTE Laboratory”.
The event featured presentations from renowned speakers across academia and industry, covering a variety of perspectives on HTE, lab automation, and AI-driven approaches. Experts from institutions such as Palacký University Olomouc, Bayer Pharma, J&J Innovative Medicine, Recursion, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, the Open Reaction Database and from ICIQ shared their insights on the latest advancements and challenges in the field. A poster session was also held, allowing participants to present their research and engage in discussions with fellow attendees.
The organisers acknowledge the contributions of participants, speakers, and sponsors in supporting the 1st ICIQ-HTE Symposium. Additionally, they recognise the support from institutional partners who helped bring this symposium to fruition.
