Lilly On Campus Recruiting visits ICIQ

On October 15th representatives from Eli Lilly and Company came to ICIQ to carry out their On Campus Recruiting programme.

Lilly On Campus Recruiting aims at interviewing doctoral and post-doctoral students so they can be taken into account as potential candidates for an I+D open position in the company. This programme is aligned with ICIQ’s commitment to give industries the opportunity of meeting/recruiting bright researchers and at the same time, help our young researchers to start a professional career.

Dr. Ana Maria Castaño and Dr. Javier Mendiola, research scientists at Lilly in Alcobendas (Madrid), presented to a broad ICIQ audience their company and the profile of the positions that Lilly usually request for its R+D department. Afterwards, they interviewed several students that focus their research in the field of organic or medicinal chemistry.

One of ICIQ’s goals is to assist in the development of the chemical and pharmaceutical industries by training highly qualified scientists. And this goal includes helping our young bright scientists have access to industry representatives.
