4th November 2020 – The Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry (RSEQ, for its initials in Spanish) has recognized the work of two of our group leaders:
Arjan W. Kleij has been recognised with the RSEQ’s Excellence in Research Award, given to scientists who during the last years have been doing outstanding research in chemistry. At the same time, Mónica H. Pérez-Temprano, who joined ICIQ thanks to the Starting Career Programme, has been distinguished with the Young Investigator Group Leader Modality Award.
The ICIQ alumni community rejoices two of them have also seen their work recognized by the RSEQ: Ruth Dorel Bruscas, ICIQ Ph.D. student in Antonio Echavarren’s group and now at Groningen University; and David Balcells Badia, who did a joint UAB-ICIQ doctorate under Feliu Masera’s supervision and is now at University of Oslo.
