ICIQ – KTT technology and business development units
ICIQ provides technology and innovation development to the industrial sector through three Technology Development Units. Each unit focuses on particular aspects of chemical and pharmaceutical development. Together they offer a wide range of complementary R&D services to different types of companies, responding to specific industrial needs. That includes pharmaceutical, chemical, energy, materials and plastic industries. There also exists a Business Development unit to conduct collaborations with partners.

Crysforma provides complete scientific and technological support in the field of solid state development, related to the discovery, analysis and scale-up of polymorphs, hydrates, amorphous phases, salts and co-crystals of active pharmaceutical ingredients or intermediates.

Innovation & Valorisation Laboratory is the ICIQ’s innovation unit, working in Knowledge and Technology Transfer (KTT) from ICIQ to industry. This transition phase, which counts with great professionals with several years’ worth of experience, is divided in two main areas: Innovation and technology valorisation of ICIQ’s projects, and development of projects with industrial partners.
