The highlight of the celebration has taken place last Tuesday 19th, as the ICIQ Community gathered for a delighted lunch featuring traditional dishes such as fideuà and rice, prepared by renowned chefs. The atmosphere was imbued with warmth and merriment, creating a perfect setting for the ICIQ community to come together and revel in the holiday spirit.
To start the event, proudly honors a group of esteemed employees who have reached a remarkable milestone – 10 years of unwavering dedication and outstanding service to the institute.
Beyond the culinary delights, the celebration featured a captivating talent show that showcased the exceptional skills within the ICIQ community. Participants dazzled the audience with a spectrum of performances, ranging from soulful singing and instrumental prowess comedy acts, adding an extra layer of entertainment to the festivities.
ICIQ’s celebration not only brought together over 200 ICIQers but also provided a platform to showcase a cherished Catalan tradition Tió de Nadal (Christmas Log). Celebrated with family and friends, this cultural highlighted added a touch of Catalonia’s rich heritage to the festivities and offered a unique opportunity to introduce this tradition to our international team.
To further infuse the holiday spirit, a door decorating contest was held, encouraging members of the community to adorn their office and lab doors in creative and festive designs. The winners, determined through a friendly voting process, added an element of spirited competition to the celebration, enhancing the overall sense of community engagement.
