The Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry (RSEQ) will celebrate its 36th Biennial Meeting in Sitges next week. We are happy that ICIQ is one of the organisers of the meeting and one of the main sponsors. Also, our Academic Vice-director, Prof. A. M. Echavarren, is member of the Scientific Committee.
The programme includes several symposia (co)organised by ICIQ researchers:
- S2 – Optoelectronic organic materials for energy conversion (E. Palomares, N. Martín, A. Molina)
- S11 – Chemistry in continuous flow (M. A. Pericàs, E. Alza)
- S12 – Synthesis towards objectives and new synthetic methods (K. Muñiz, J. Bosch)
- S20 – Advances in theoretical chemistry: biomolecules and materials (N. López, M. Swart, G. Jiménez-Osés)
Moreover, the list of invited speakers features P. Melchiorre (S10), C. Rodríguez-Escrich (S11), A. Urakawa (S13), M. H. Pérez-Temprano (S19), and M. A. Pericàs (S23).
In addition to that, Eloísa Serrano (Martín’s group) will present her research during the Lilly Awards Ceremony after the opening session on Sunday.
You can also find ICIQ researchers presenting their work in oral contributions: group leaders Prof. A. Kleij, Prof. A. Llobet, Dr. A. Shafir and several post-doc researchers and PhD students (S. Ferrer, A. Tortajada, M. Besora, M. Fianchini, F. Miloserdov, R. Dorel, M.E. de Orbe, Z. Wang, Y. Wu, E. Tan, T. Duhamel, B. García, J.E. Gómez, E. del Castillo-Fernández, S. Cuadros-Huertas, S.
