The 2012 impact factors were released last week.

Many journals take advantage of this event to promote their titles and to thank their authors and referees. This is the case of Energy & Environmental Sciences that announced their new impact factor with a ‘free to access’ collection of its best research articles.

Emilio Palomares and co-workers’ paper on a novel class of Ru(II) sensitizers for dye sensitized solar cell (DSC) devices is included in the collection of articles free to download for a limited period of time.
