ICIQ among the best Research Institutions in Catalonia: Bibliometric indicators

The results of a bibliometric study of Catalan scientific production over the period 1992-2006 show that ICIQ is, among the different Research Public Centers considered, the second one with a higher average of citations per document, and the third one with a higher percentage of documents published in journals of high impact factor.Other considered indicators in this study were activity (number of documents published in the periods of study) and internationalization (percentage of documents published with an international collaboration).
