The Campus of International Excellence Southern Catalonia (CEICS), promoted by the URV and in which ICIQ is a member, organises its first CEICS Forum to be held on November 9, 10 and 11. The CEICS forum is addressed to CEICS researchers, doctoral and postdoctoral students and industry partners.

This forum aims at strengthening the CEICS community by programming workshops, talks and parallel sessions on CEICS’ specialisation areas: chemistry, nutrition and health, heritage and culture, oenology and tourism. In this edition, the strategic topic of the forum will be changes in doctoral studies.

Among the events scheduled are two sessions on Chemistry and Energy which include the roundtable “Future trends and priorities in Chemistry Frontier research and Innovation, and its Energy connection” that will be chaired by Prof. Miquel A. Pericàs and the conference “Chemistry for Energy: Materials Interacting with Light.” delivered by Prof. Emilio Palomares. Moreover, Prof. Luis Oro will deliver a plenary lecture on Nov.10 at 19.30h.
